Samudera Indonesia is deeply saddened to inform that our Independent Commissioner, Wisnoentoro Martokoesoemo passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017.
He was appointed as Independent Comissioner of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk in 2005. He obtained his degree of Diplom Ingenieur in Naval Architecture (Naval Architect) from the Technische Hochschule Hannover, Germany in 1962
He played vital role in a number of organizations, e.g. as one of the founders of the Indonesian Classification Bureau, member of the Executive Board of Indonesia German Circle, and the Secretary General of the Association of German Alumni, Board of Management EKONID that led him to be awarded the “Verdienst Kreuz der Bundes Republic Deutschland” from the German government.
His funeral ceremony was held at his home in Jl. Balai Pustaka Barat Kav. 721, Rawamangun Jakarta Timur. The departed was buried in Tonjong, Parung, Bogor.
